Important: With effect from 1st July 2018 applicant’s residents of Côte d’Ivoire seeking Passport/Visa/Consular services in Embassy of India, Abidjan are required to deposit the prescribed fee in.

And submit with duly filled and printed online application at the Mission from 9 to 12PM on a working day with the payment receipt.

From 16th May 2019 onwards, visa applicants will have to furnish their biometric data for processing of their visa applications.

No applications will be accepted without the bank receipt of the payment of fee. Fee structure for all the consular services is attached herewith. Any clarification may be sought from Consular Officer, Mr. Ram Prasad Meena at +225-2722479580.

Note: Applicants are requested to fill the visa application form online at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/index.html, after filling the online visa application form and uploading the photograph and signature, applicants have to bring the printout of the online filled in application form to the Embassy with relevant documents.

All visa applications from the residents of Cote d’Ivoire are received from 9.00 AM to 12.30 PM. The time of delivery of passport after rendering the services is from 2.30 PM to 4.30 PM. Visas are issued on the following day.

(*) The Embassy does NOT accept visa fees by Credit / Debit Cards or by personal cheques.

Required Documents:

Student Visa

 A bonafide admission letter from a recognized/reputed college/Institute in India;

  •         The receipt of payment of tuition fees;

  •         A notarized sponsorship letter from the parents/guardian of the student;

  •         Bank Statement for the past six months indicating the availability of funds of the sponsor; 

  •         Certificate of Residence;

  •         Air ticket

Medical Visa

  •         Medical report/recommendation of local hospital/doctor for the desired treatment;

  •         Letter from the Hospital in India where applicant intends to undergo medical treatment;

  •         Bank Statement for a period of minimum of 6 months showing sufficient funds;

  •         Work attestation certificate;

  •         Certificate of Residence;

  •         Air ticket booking/reservation;

Conference Visa

  •         Letter from India inviting for the conference/seminar etc.;

  •         Letter from the employer authorizing for participation in the conference/seminar etc. in India;

  •         Certificate of Residence;

  •        A return air ticket booking/reservation;

TRANSFER OF VISA:

When an Indian visa affixed on an old passport is transferred to a new one, a service fee of FCFA 3600/- should be charged. This fee should not be charged from the nationals of the countries mentioned as: Afghanistan, Argentina, Bangladesh, Jamaica, Maldives, Mauritius, Mongolia, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, South Africa, Uruguay, Nepal, Bhutan and Pakistan.

  1. RESTRICTED/PROTECTED AREAS PERMIT:

A fee of FCFA 18600/- introduced in March, 2000 for issuing restricted/protected area permit should not be charged from the nationals of the countries mentioned at Sl. No. 15, 30 and 32..

  1. VISA IS ISSUED GRATIS TO THE FOLLOWING NATIONALS:

Afghanistan, Argentina, Bangladesh, Jamaica, Maldives, Mauritius, Mongolia, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, South Africa and Uruguay. (However, fax charges of FCFA 5100/- will be charged from applicants NOT resident in Senegal, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, or The Gambia.) In respect of Seychelles nationals, all types of visas except for work/employment may be issued on gratis basis (conveyed vide Ministry’s circular E-mail message dated 01 April, 2015.)

  1. Additional Fees

    1. ICWF Fee (obligatory):- Additional fee of FCFA 2000/- is charged by the Indian Government for each visa application in order to provide funding for the Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF)

  • Employment and Business visas to the nationals of Guinea, and Liberia will be issued gratis subject to usual checks and submission of requisite documents. However, the Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF) will continue to be charged from Business and Employment Visa applicants.

  1. No visa is required for the following nationals :

(i) Bhutan and (ii) Nepal

Note:- Fees included FCFA 100/- as bank charges.

  •       The applicants should avail the services within 5 days after depositing the fees.
