Public Notice: Evacuation Flight to Delhi

An evacuation charter flight to New Delhi is being arranged for the Indian Nationals stranded in Cote d’Ivoire and Liberia on 22 June 2020 as per the following schedule. Subsequently another flight to Kochi is being arranged by the Embassy the details for which would be notified shortly.

2.  The Embassy of India in Abidjan has authorised Satguru Travels & Tours Services in Abidjan and Monrovia to facilitate the booking of tickets as per the online registrations already done by the people desirous of travelling to India. The Embassy will finalise the list of passengers as per the compelling reasons and the domicile State/UT of the registered people.

3.   All travellers shall bear the cost of travel and shall give an undertaking that they would undergo mandatory institutional quarantine as required, on arrival in Delhi at their own cost, and that they would be making the journey at their own risk.

4.   For this flight, an additional undertaking has to be given by all the passengers that they agree to be quarantined in one of the facilities in Delhi, Delhi NCR or Haryana or Bhiwadi or Chandigarh and that they will not insist on returning to their state of domicile before completing the mandatory period of quarantine. Also after the quarantine period is over, all the passengers will return to their states of domicile, either by making their own arrangements or through the arrangements facilitated by the Resident Commissioner/nodal officer of the concerned state. It may also be mentioned that as per the guidelines of the Government of India, passengers coming from abroad are not allowed to take domestic flights without completing the mandatory quarantine period.
