IAFS-III Training Programs
The Third India-Africa Forum Summit held in New Delhi on 26-29 October 2015, unveiled a “dynamic and transformative agenda” of mutual empowerment and mutual resurgence that will bring India and Africa closer in years and decades to come.
Under the IAFS-III, capacity building and training is an important element for which 50,000 Scholarships in India have been earmarked over a period of five years. Accordingly a number of training programs are being offered under the IAFS-III.
The training programs are in areas such as: IT, Solar Energy, Road transport, Agriculture, Food processing, Marine Sciences, Water Resources, etc. The training programs are fully funded by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The general terms and conditions are as follows:
- Age should be between the age of 25 to 45.
- Five years work experience.
- The applicant should meet the eligibility criteria of the Institute.
- The applicant should be medically fit.
- The applicant should possess working knowledge of English.
